Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How much flavoring do you put in your e-liquid/juice?
A: For optimal flavoring, we recommend using between 15% and 20% flavoring. We use 20% in all of our flavors.
Q: Can I order extra flavoring if I want more than 20%?
A: Yes, there is an option for adding 50% more flavoring, which we recommend if you use mostly VG (vegetable glycerin) as your e-liquid base.
Q: What is PG?
A: PG (propylene glycol) is the base liquid used in your e-liquid to make vapor.
Q: What is VG (vegetable glycerin)?
A: VG (vegetable glycerin) is another type of base liquid used in your e-liquid to make vapor.
Q: What is the difference between PG and VG?
A: VG is thicker than PG, so it makes larger plumes of vapor than PG. PG is thinner than VG, so it carries the flavor better than VG.
Q: Should I choose extra flavoring if I am getting mostly VG?
A: Yes. VG is thicker and denser, so the flavor is not as pronounced as in PG.
Q: Are all the ingredients you use food-grade and manufactured in the USA?
A: Yes, all ingredients are food-grade, kosher, and indeed made in the USA. Your e-liquid is made to order in California.
Q: Which should I choose: PG, VG, or a mix?
A: Some people prefer more flavor than vapor, so they use either all or mostly PG. Some people prefer more vapor than flavor, so they choose either all or mostly VG. Others want the best of both worlds, so they choose half and half PG/VG.
Q: Can I get whatever percentage of PG/VG that I want? Let's say I want 80% PG and 20% VG.
A: Not a problem. You can choose whatever mix you want or leave it up to us by selecting the option "Pick Best for Me," and we will determine what works best for the particular flavor you choose.
Q: Since the juice/e-liquid is made fresh, will I need to steep my e-liquid for any period of time once I receive it?
A: Your e-liquid is ready to use. However, it does get even better over 2 to 3 days of steeping.
Q: How long does an electronic cigarette last?
A: Please note that e-cigarette atomizers and batteries are made of the highest quality and are considered consumable products that may fail or degrade over time, especially if under constant use.
Atomizers operate in a pretty rough thermodynamic environment (temperature extremes, voltage variations, and differences in liquid, which cause the atomizer to deteriorate over time). The life of the consumables varies from person to person, depending on the use and habits of the individual user.
Please note, due to the normal usage and limited life expectancy of atomizers, most e-cigarette companies only warranty them not to be "DOA" (dead on arrival). However, VAPOR CIG provides a generous two-week warranty on atomizers.
The average lifespan of an electronic cigarette atomizer is around 14 to 45 days, and a battery can be up to 90 days, depending on its care and how it is used and maintained. For maximum performance, we recommend the purchase of new atomizers every 30 days and batteries every 60 days. Most users purchase extra e-cigarette atomizers and batteries when they place their initial order. We warranty our batteries for 30 days.

Here are some tips on maintaining your e-cigarette:
- E-cigarettes contain lithium-ion batteries, electronic circuitry, and microprocessors. They should be stored and handled with extreme care to extend their lifespan.
- Damage may occur if the battery is not charged properly or is used after the battery flashes, is dropped, or placed near magnets or electronic transmitting devices, such as cell phones and/or electronic keys, or is subjected to humidity, water, and temperature extremes.
- To get the maximum life out of your batteries, follow the instructions concerning use and charging.
- Use the batteries until they flash, and then recharge them and remove them from the charger.
Q: What is the difference between PG and VG e-liquid or e-juice? Which one should I select?
A: The PG that we use in our California-made e-liquid/juice recipes is always medical-grade propylene glycol, which is what is typically used in almost all e-liquids/juices around the world. It is what makes the steam or the vapor. It is also used in nebulizers (breathing machines) for asthmatics.
The VG we use in our California-made e-liquid/juice recipes is always ASDA-approved food-grade vegetable glycerin. This also is what makes the steam or the vapor. VG is sweeter than PG. Some people are skin-sensitive to PG, so they use VG instead. The PG is still the more popular of the two, yet VG is gaining fast in popularity.
There are quite a number of people who like to use both VG and PG. The owner of VAPOR CIG enjoys both PG and VG mixed together and said, "I like the VG because it's a bit sweeter and thicker than PG, thereby producing thicker vapor. I like to use PG as my main e-liquid and then add a couple of drops of my VG to it. Some people use VG as their main and PG as their ‘topper,’ especially if they happen to be one of those few who do have a bit of a skin sensitivity to PG."

Q: Does your product contain nicotine?
A: Yes, it does in high, medium, and low amounts. You will feel the nicotine hit the back of your throat. We also carry non-nicotine products.
Q: Does the vapor smell?
A: It has a slight aroma that dissipates in a second or two, just as steam does.
Q: What produces the steam or the vapor?
A: Propylene glycol makes the steam or the vapor, which is the main constituent of Blast™ and is also found in soft drinks, popcorn, ice cream, cakes, Otter Pops, cosmetics, and several brands of eye drops and/or tears.
Propylene glycol is also the "oil" that produces the steam or vapor in room vaporizers and nebulizers as a lubricant for asthmatics and others who suffer from respiratory problems. It is also found in antifreeze, along with water, and both are inactive ingredients.
Propylene glycol is not a toxin. It is a lubricant, and that is why it is already widely used in so many consumable products.
